Physical Education is an essential part of every child’s curriculum. My goal is for every child to enjoy coming to P.E. class and to realize the importance and lifelong benefits of moderate to vigorous physical activity.
I am pleased to have your child in the Physical Education Program this year. Physical Education class should be instructional in nature and will be led this way during the school year. We will also be focusing on living a healthy lifestyle. The items below need to be mentioned for a better understanding of the Physical Education Program:
- Sneakers must always be worn for Physical Education Class.
- Middle School students must wear the school P.E. uniform for each class.
- Inappropriate behavior in Physical Education class will not be tolerated. Class time is too short, and too many students will miss instruction when a discipline problem is being addressed. Appropriate behavior is expected of all students.
- If your child needs to be excused from P.E. class because of illness, please send an excuse note signed by a parent or guardian.
