The Trinity Lutheran Parent Teacher Friends Association is compromised of a group of dedicated parents, staff members, and friends who provide positive support to the school by organizing and helping out on various designated projects that have been deemed most beneficial for Trinity students.
The PTFA’s vision is
- to encourage a community in the school for the parents
- to provide one strong voice for Trinity’s parents
- most importantly to raise money to enhance the educational experience for Trinity’s students.
Some of the many community activities the PTFA organizes are Movie Nights for K-5, the Harvest Dance for K-5, Middle School Dance, Holiday Boutique, and Scholastic Book fairs.
Additionally, it is a priority of the PTFA to raise money to enhance the educational experience of the students. We have numerous fundraisers throughout the year with our major fundraiser, WINGO, in the Spring.
Trinity PTFA fundraisers provide funding for many educational activities from the fifth grade Philadelphia tee shirts to teachers’ class supplies. We are dedicated to putting 100% of the money raised back into Trinity students. The PTFA’s recent and major school projects were the funding of the Robotic Lab, the updated Art Room, and refurbished School Lobby.
The Trinity Lutheran School Parents Teachers Friends Association is a collective effort. Parents and families are highly encouraged to sign up to volunteer with PTFA, attend our meetings, and participate in our events. We are always looking for volunteers and we will be happy to discuss with you the many ways in which you can serve on the PTFA. You can fill out the Google Form below or please contact us if you are interested in helping with the PTFA and/or with questions, via email at PTFABoard@trinityhicksville.org.
