Early Childhood Director

Trinity Lutheran School seeks an Early Childhood Director to oversee the daily operations of Trinity’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) comprising toddler, three-year old, and pre-kindergarten classes. It is expected that the Early Childhood Director will be an integral member of the school’s administrative team and will actively seek to support and promote the mission and ministry of the school. Ultimately, it is expected that the Director will effectively guide and support the teachers of the ECC, as together they seek to educate and serve the children and families of Trinity’s Early Childhood Center. 


  • BA in Education (MA Preferred)
  • Certification(Birth- 2nd Grade) and/or Experience in Early Childhood Education Experience which demonstrates skills in leadership, collaboration, and effective   communication.
  • A passion for the comprehensive development and well-being of young children.

Desired:     Knowledge of OCFS regulations regarding preschool and daycare programs.

Middle School English Language Arts Teacher

Trinity Lutheran School seeks a middle school English/Language Arts (ELA) teacher to create a classroom environment that helps students develop fundamental and comprehensive literacy skills and an appreciation of all genres of literature. Through teacher-created units of study, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be motivated to read for personal enjoyment as well as for assignments and to gain information. Additionally, students will develop their voices by writing for a variety of purposes and audiences. Ultimately, it is expected that the ELA teacher will work collaboratively with the middle school team, the entire school staff, and the administration to further the mission and ministry of Trinity within the school and in the wider community.


  • BA in Education (MA Preferred)
  • Evidence of a passion for literature and the written word.
  • Experience which demonstrates skills in collaboration, effective communication, and excellence in writing.
  • A passion for the comprehensive development and well-being of middle school aged children.
  • Knowledge in differentiating instruction.

  • Knowledge of NYS Next Generation Standards

Substitute Teacher Opportunities

Trinity Lutheran School is looking for substitute teachers for all Early childhood -8th grade. Candidates should have a minimum of a BA degree and some previous experience working with children ages 3 through 14.
