The winter weather is certainly upon us! I have adjusted this week’s exam schedule due to last Friday’s snow day. In addition, this week we will be taking mid-year and benchmark exams in Math and ELA. These exams are to measure progress and skills acquired thus far in the school year. We will review in school and the exams will be given in sections on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Spelling: NO Spelling this week
Grammar: Adjectives
Reading: Reading “The Thing About Georgie”
Writing: narrative writing; descriptive paragraphs
Math: Test on Chapter 6; review for mid-year exam
Science: Test on Chapter 9
Social Studies: Test on Chapter 6
Religion: daily devotions, weekly Dear God letters
TESTS THIS WEEK:
- Monday – Math, Chapter 6
- Tuesday – Social Studies, Chapter 6
- Thursday – Memory Quiz
- Friday – Science, Chapter 9
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- NO Math Extra Help this week.
- The Reading Projects are due by Friday, 2/12.
- On Friday we will have our class Valentine Party. Thank you to Mrs. Fuhrer and Mrs. Agard for coordinating this.
- There is no school next week for Winter Recess.
