This week we are talking about perseverance and closing the year thinking of what sixth grade will be like and remembering that God will be there with each one of us.

We are finishing the book: Number The Starts. We will be answering a number of comprehension questions and a short writing assignment about it.

Monday we finish CH 17 in S.S. There will be a take home test Monday night. Due Tuesday.

We will be watching National Treasure Tuesday or Wednesday.

All textbooks are coming home by Tuesday. Remaining supplies and hymnal will go home Wed.

A fun time was had at the picnic. Thanks for attending!!

This has been a good year. I have seen your children grow and mature. It is my privilege to work with them each day. I will continue to pray for each one of them as the summer flies by and they are off to middle school. Please know that I am an email away if you need anything I may be able to assist with.

My sincere thanks for sending your child to Trinity Lutheran School.

At the end of the school year, and as I see my own children at home grow, I am reminded of this verse:

And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.    Luke 2: 52

Just as we do. Mary saw Jesus grow and experience life. How wonderful it is that God has a plan for each child and that he allows us to be part of it. Hold your children close when you can, let them go when you need, be there for them always. Thanks for a super year. Mrs. Lively
