Hope everyone had a great summer, and is looking forward to a new and exciting school year. I’m looking forward to teaching 6th Grade Science this year very much. I have always loved science and worked for many years as a head consular and animal demonstrator at a summer nature program, and am excited to get back into sharing my love for science and nature and making it fun for my students.
One of my goals for this year is to incorporate more technology into my lessons. I believe that technology is here to stay and that by using more and more technology properly in the classroom we can truly prepare students for their future. One this that will be done this year is that the homework assignments will be posted to this blog. Whats really cool is that not only will they be posted, but you will be able to view and print your homework assignment from the blog posting. By having the assignment available as a backup online I am hoping to exterminate the excuse “I left my book at school yesterday.”
Also on this blog you will find various study tips, notes about upcoming tests and quizzes and some photos and examples of what we are doing in class.
