Dear Parents,

Last week we learned the letter “T” for thankful. We talked about what we are thankful for so make sure you ask them on Thanksgiving! We have a short week this week so we will not introduce a new letter. We will focus on reviewing all the letters, shapes, colors, and numbers we have learned so far. In addition, we are going to start practicing for our Christmas Program.

We have our Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 27th. All children are invited to attend school, even if they don’t attend school on Wednesday. All half day children are invited to stay for a full day with dismissal being at 3:15pm. If you do not wish for your child to stay for a full day, please note that half day dismissal is extended to 12:15pm to accommodate for our feast. If you haven’t sent in $10 for your child’s feast, please do so on Monday; however, if you wish for your child to bring their own lunch, please return the form indicating that they will bring their own lunch.

The children have been working hard on different Thanksgiving crafts which will be used to decorate the MPR where we will have our feast. All their crafts and projects will be home on Wednesday.

For religion we will continue to saying our Thank You God prayer and we will continue talking about the Fruit of the Spirit. Our class will lead Chapel for ECC this week. We are excited for them to teach their friends the Thank You God prayer and tell them about the Fruit of the Spirit.

We wish you a great week and Happy Thanksgiving!
