Math Grade 6
Our next Unit will focus on decimals. We will review how to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals. We will also be focusing on real-life application and use of decimals.

This week, as well as part of next week, we will be reviewing for our test on percents and proportionality. (Modules 4 and 5)

Algebra
This week we will be finishing up our chapter on solving systems of equations. We will explore how to solve them both graphically and algebraically using substitution and elimination methods. We will then apply these skills to word problems. We will also be learning to graph systems of inequalities.

Physical Science- Grade 8
This week we are working on Chapter 11. This week we are focusing on the Atom. We will discuss protons, neutrons, electrons and how to calculate atomic mass. We will also be constructing and drawing various atoms and isotopes.
