Dear Parents,

Happy Cinco de Mayo. We are looking forward to our celebration in class today. Thank you to all our families who are sending in treats to celebrate today. This week is Special Person’s Day. We look forward to celebrating with your child and their special person on Friday, May 9th, at 9:30am. We will be planting flowers and enjoying some delicious ice-cream.

Last week we learned about the life cycle of butterflies. We will finish up that lesson this week and we will get our very own caterpillars to watch grow into butterflies. This week we will learn about the life cycle of a plant. We will make a fun flower craft which will teach them about the different parts of a plant. We will also discuss what plants need to grow.

This week we will learn the letter “Z” for zinnia. The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter “Z”. There is no chapel this week. For religion, we will learn how Jesus goes back to heaven. Library books are due on Thursday and Friday. Please return your book in order to borrow a new one.

Have a Blessed Day!
Miss Seleena and Miss Ava
