Dear Parents,

We had so much fun learning about St. Patrick’s Day and Irish culture last week. We built a leprechaun trap with the hopes of catching that silly leprechaun on Monday. We learned the letter “R” for Rainbow. This week we will learn the letter “W” for Windy. The children will learn to recognize, trace, and sound out the letter “W”. On Monday we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Please remember to wear GREEN. We will do two cool science experiments, making a rainbow with skittles and markers. For religion, we will learn about the Holy Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We will learn how to make the sign of the cross and we will make our own cross with puffy paint.

Thursday is the first day of spring. We will talk about the changing weather and the new season. We will work on our scholastic reader about spring and start to make a few spring crafts. We didn’t have time to do library last week. This week we will have library on Wednesday and Thursday. Your child has to return their library book by Thursday in order to borrow a new book. We do not have school on Friday, March 21st due to Professional Development for the teachers.

Have a Blessed Day!
Miss Seleena and Miss Ava
