Welcome to Mrs. Gallo’s class notes. Here you will find what we will be doing for the week in math and science. You will also find important notes for my homeroom students regarding bible, spelling and other items.
Math: This week we will be covering: regrouping through thousands, place value and patterns, and place value of whole numbers. Every night there is homework in math unless otherwise written in your child’s agenda.
Science: There is a vocabulary quiz, Friday 9/12 on Chapter 1. The words are classify, kingdom, phylum, class, species, vertebrate, and invertebrate. This week we will be covering: why we classify organisms, the classification system, and how we classify vertebrates.
There will be a memory verse test on September 19th. The worksheet with all of the bible verses will be going home by the end of the week.
