Hello Parents! I hope everyone enjoyed the much-needed Spring break! Time is flying by and before we know it, it will be Summer! Trinity is still asking for all students and staff to continue to wear their mask until otherwise. Please also continue to fill out the daily attestations upon arrival.
We are continuing with Theme 7 and starting unit 3 “Our Weather”. BIG Idea: The weather affects what I wear and do each day. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about their environment by investigating characteristics of the natural world. Social-Emotional Focus: Curiosity. The theme vocabulary words include: clouds, cloudy, rainy, sunny, weather and windy. Math vocabulary words include: measure, temperature and thermometer.
We will be learning the letter Yy, and reviewing numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. We will be reading the books “What Will The Weather Be?”, “Weather” and “ABC! I Like Me!” We will celebrate Earth Day on Monday, 4/25 and will be making Bean Greenhouses! We also will continue to work on our Mother’s Day crafts. For Jesus Time, Mrs. Gonzalez will discuss the story of Peter and the Crippled Man with the children. We will continue to sing our Jesus time songs and pray before snack and lunch.
