This week we begin our twice a month chapel visits. Some of the nursery students will visit God’s house on Tuesday, while some will visit on Wednesday. The students will sing songs, pray and hear about God’s wonderful gift of creation.
This week is PURPLE week. Please wear purple on Wednesday and Thursday. We will mix blue and red paint/finger-paint to make purple. One of our stories is Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson.
We will read The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Lord and each of us will wear a homemade chef’s hat while we eat our very own giant jam sandwich!
We will learn another color poem. This time about purple.
The students will have a lot of fun making a bunch of purple grapes using a marshmallow dipped in purple paint.
Reminder: Picture Day is next Tuesday, 10/29 and Wednesday 10/30. Please return your completed picture order form to your child’s teacher before picture day.
