Hello Everyone, happy Monday! I hope you everyone had a great and restful weekend. This week In ELA we are starting novels as a class. The students are practicing round robin reading with the novels, this way everybody has the opportunity to read outloud and this allows me to know that they are following along in class. My students will also be asked to complete summaries or make predictions about what we are reading. The will be used as an exit ticket.
6th grade is reading Freak the Mighty by, Rodman Philbrick
7th grade is reading The Wednesday Wars by by, Gary Schmidt
and the 8th grade is reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
