Hello Parents! It was so great seeing you all during Friday’s conferences! Thank you so much for the kind words. Mrs. Maldonado and I are forever thankful for all your support. We have a very fun, themed week planned and I couldn’t be more excited!! Below are the themes for each day.

- Wednesday 1/24 – Dress Your Best Day
- Thursday 1/25 – Dress Like a Teacher Day
- Friday 1/26 – 90’s Day
We are continuing to take a pause on our curriculum this week. We will continue to discuss the different characteristics of animals, their habitats, and hibernation. I will begin to introduce the concept of frozen water. We will discuss how water turns from a liquid into a solid and then back into a liquid. If time permits, we will conduct a frozen water experiment. To further enhance this lesson, we will be making our own ice cream using a few simple ingredients!
We will be learning the letter Oo, number 14 and continue to review shapes and colors. We will be reading the frozen water weekly Scholastic and the book titled “The Mitten” and “The Hat”. We will be comparing the two to go along with our topic of Winter.
For Jesus Time, Mrs. Maldonado will be discussing Jesus’ life as a young boy and his baptism during Jesus time.
