Hello, everyone! Here is the run-down for the week.
8TH SOCIAL STUDIES
This week the students are finishing up various projects relating to World War I. Each student must have their project ready to present on Thursday. They began their work in class last Friday, so they just need to add the finishing touches. There will likely be a test on Chapter 21 next week, and I will post more details next week.
8TH MATH
The students are continuing to work on learning different strategies for solving systems of equations. This week they are working on estimating and using substitution.
8TH RELIGION
The memory verse for this week is 2 Corinthians 5:17. This is not from the book, so the students were to copy the verse from the board. This verse was actually the theme for the retreat that several church members attended this weekend. This verse is a wonderful reminder of the work Christ performs in us each day.
