Just a few updates this week. First of all, there will be a bake sale on Thursday, April 23rd, to help raise money to hire a photographer for the 8th grade dance. Please send in a baked good to sell.
8TH SOCIAL STUDIES
This week the students are learning about the home front and the actions of the U.S. during World War I. The field trip to the Holocaust Memorial last week really affirmed the impact that this war had on the world.
8TH MATH: PRE-ALGEBRA
In Pre-Algebra, the students are working on solving systems of equations. In short, this is simply finding a common solution to two or more equations. The students will first learn how to solve by graphing.
8TH RELIGION
In Religion, the students are continuing to study the kings of Israel and Judah. The memory verse for this week is 1 Peter 2:21, which is found on page 85 of the student book.
PETER PAN
Rehearsal this week will be on Wednesday and Thursday this week, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
