Well, we’ve made it to the last week before Christmas break! However, we have much to accomplish before we can all relax.
Extra help will be on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 7:45 a.m. this week.
8AA Homeroom
Due to the Tri-M outing Friday afternoon, we will have a small Christmas party Thursday afternoon during 8th period. If you would like, you may send a treat to share. I will provide the paper goods and a sweet treat for the class.
8th Religion
There will be a Unit 2 open-book quiz on Wednesday. This will cover the books of Exodus through Joshua 6 (the battle of Jericho). There is no memory work for this week.
8th Math: Pre-Algebra
There will be a quiz on Module 4 on Thursday. This will cover graphing lines and proportional versus non-proportional relationships. The students will be doing review work in class, as well as for homework.
8th Social Studies
On Thursday, the student will take a test on Chapter 18, Sections 1-3. The last two sections of chapter 18 will be covered when we return in January. The study guide may be accessed here.
