Happy New Year!
We hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable vacation. A few days ago, we celebrated the beginning of a new year. As the old year ends and a new year begins, many people reassess where life is taking them. Some may make a New Year’s resolution or a promise to themselves that things will be different in the coming year.
One of the best things we can try to do is to make the King of Kings the living, active center of everything we are and in all we do. The challenge in front of each of us is to make each moment a gift worth giving to Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
As the new year begins, the sixth graders are excited to be leading our Chapel service on January 8th. The students have been busy planning a wonderful message for the Epiphany of our Lord. Please feel free to join us this Wednesday during Chapel. We look forward to seeing you there!

WELCOME BACK AND “Happy New Year!” Hopefully school will be in session for a full week once again! We hope you and your family enjoyed the Christmas break and the added “Snow Day”. We have begun the new year with added enthusiasm, and anticipate great things at Trinity in the forth coming months.
OPEN HO– USE – Trinity’s first Open House of the new year will be held this Saturday, January 11th, from 10 am until 12 noon. The emphasis of this Open House is on kindergarten through grade 8, but information for our Early Childhood will also be available. Please tell your friends about the wonderful offerings we have academically and socially in a Christian setting. Word of mouth is our best way to spread the good word about our school!
RE-REGISTRATION FORMS for the 2014-2015 school year have already been received by all our current families. The deadline for re-enrolling at the $175 fee is March 1, 2014. Re-enrollment by February 1st entitles families to receive the discounted rate of $150. If you don’t re-enroll by March 1, the fee increases to $250. We encourage families to re-register their children soon as possible as after our Open House this Saturday we will be scheduling testing for prospective students and we will need an accurate re-enrollment count to plan our enrollment acceptances. We would not want to lose current families due to new student acceptances filling their seats.
CHOIR NOTICE: There will be NO choir rehearsals for Rejoice Choir on Wednesday, January 8, and Sounds of Praise on Thursday, January 9.
PTFA UPCOMING ACTIVITIES:
- PTFA Meeting: January 16th at 7:30 pm. Remember, all in attendance will be entered in a raffle for an end of year drawing for a choice of: one free week at Trinity’s Celebrate Summer Camp or one of Mrs. Heigl’s famous cheesecakes! Used uniforms will also be on sale at this meeting.
- K-5 Movie Night with pajamas and ice cream! Date is January 24, time is 7:00 pm.
