Hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The school year is winding down. We have so many fun and exciting things planned for the next few weeks. This year flew by so quickly. The tiny toddlers that walked into our classroom in September have grown so much this year. We are so proud of them. Our class always gets so many compliments when we are walking in the halls or when people come into our room. They are all such amazing children.
This week we will continue with our theme of Transportation and we will begin practicing for our moving up ceremony in a few weeks. The children have loved talking about all the different kinds of transportation.
In other news, our butterflies did form cocoons and we are anxiously waiting for them to emerge from those cocoons.
This is a short week. The children are off from school on Thursday, May 22nd and Friday, May 23rd. We are also closed on Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day.
Please also remember that our school picnic is on Friday, May 30th at Theodore Roosevelt Park.
Have a great week!!!
