Kindergarten KA/KAA classes will be making a lovely Turkey Centerpiece to adorn your Thanksgiving tables!  They will be using tempera paint and glue, but don’t ask, it’s a surprise for YOU!

1AA – lots of paint, cutting and gluing will help to make a stunning Paper Plate Turkey Hat for our Annual School-wide Thanksgiving Feast.

2AA – students will trace one hand and magically transform it into a wonderful Handprint Turkey Hat with all the trimmings!  Gobble, Gobble…

3AA – lots of painting and “oh so many feathers” will enhance the beautiful Turkey Centerpieces that our third grade class will create for our Thanksgiving Feast.

5A – will continue using their thumbs for a surprise to give our Trinity Faculty and Staff  (you will have to ask a 5th Grader — if they will tell you!)

Grades 4, 6, 7 and 8 will all finish up their projects from last week.

Reminder — to Grades 5 through 8 students ~ All Artwork must be completed this week by Friday, Nov.8 (end of 1st quarter marking period).

Anyone interested in the Newsday Kidsday Art Contest – there are still flyers left outside my classroom door for details and deadlines.
