LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR 2013/2014 FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1-8 is Wednesday, June 18. Dismissal that day will be at 12 noon. Bus transportation will be provided by your school district for the noon dismissal.

BACCALAUREATE SERVICE – Yesterday our eighth graders were honored at the Baccalaureate Service in Trinity Lutheran Church. They will receive their diplomas at the Graduation Ceremony at 7:00 pm on Friday evening in the church. We wish them all well as they embark on their next step in their education.

REPORT CARDS – Final report cards will be mailed on June 30th.  Included with the report cards will be summer reading lists, math review suggestions and recommendations, and health forms. Additional items will be mailed home in July. Student supply lists will be on our website in July.

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS – Please make certain all financial obligations have been met so that your child’s report card and any request for transfer records will not have to be withheld. Please contact Doris Gargan at 516-931-2225 if you are unsure of tuition owed. The school office will be able to verify any other outstanding fees (instrumental, lunch, lost library books, etc.)

  • Wed., 06/18    Last day of school for grades 1-8; noon dismissal

  • Thurs., 06/19   Earth Science Regents; 12 noon – NO bus transportation
  • Fri., 06/20        Integrated Algebra Regents; 8:30 am – NO bus transportation
  • Fri., 06/20        Grade eight Graduation; 7:00 pm
  • Mon., 06/23     Spanish FLACS Exam; 8:45 am – NO bus transportation

STUDENT TEXTBOOKS – Please make certain your child has all the textbooks loaned to you by your school district for the current school year. You will be charged for any missing books and you may not be able to pick up next year’s books until the charges are paid.

LIBRARY BOOKS – All library books were due Friday, June 6. Please remember to return immediately any books you may still have at home.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION – Please send in your Box Tops for Education and Campbell soup UPC codes. Trinity earns cash and merchandise for redemption of these labels. Also, please continue to save them during the summer months for redemption next year.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Welcome to Jungle Safari – where kids explore the nature of God! Vacation Bible School will be held July 28th through August 1st from 9:00 am – 12 noon. VBS is open for children four years old by December 1st through fifth grade. Youth who have completed sixth grade and older may be helpers. Registration has been sent home, so be sure to send yours in!
