Vv is for valentines, Vv is for veterinarian. This week we will explore the letter Vv, the feeling of love, Valentine’s Day, the community helper, veterinarians, and how to care for animals.
Valentines Day is a celebration of love. We will discuss the feeling of love and how we share it. We will create heart crafts to give as gifts to our loved ones. We will also learn about God’s unconditional love for us and praise him through the songs, “Love Him, Love Him” and “Jesus Loves Me.”
On Monday, we have a pediatric dental office coming to teach us about good dental hygiene and care. On Wednesday, our class will celebrate Valentine’s Day together with a special snack. Please wear red or pink to make our day more festive. It is also Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. On Thursday, we will cerebrate a Valentines Tea Party snack with our favorite stuffed animal friends from home. We will have a special “show and tell” to introduce our stuffed animal friends to our class. On Friday, we will celebrate the last day of school before February break with another pajama day! Please wear pajamas to school on Friday.
Our play centers this week include…veterinarian’s office dramatic play, playdough hearts station, dinosaurs imaginative play, beauty parlor, rose petal sensory table, candy hearts geometric shapes making cards and various crafts in the art center.
