You know what they say, “April showers bring May flowers!” This week we will learn about rain, the water cycle and letter Uu. We will discuss umbrellas and rain clothes, as we explore the science of raindrops. We will sing, “The Raindrop Song,” count raindrops and conduct the “Rain In A Jar” experiment. Our Jesus time lesson this week is “God gives us water.” We will discuss how water and rain are essential to life and we will thank God for his gift of rain. Our song of praise is “Hallelu, Hallelu.”
We also have a few special events going on this week. Monday is the solar eclipse. We will talk about this momentous natural phenomenon. Wednesday is our field trip to Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead. Please meet up at the entrance at 9:45 am.
