The Toddler Times – “Dd is for Dentist” – Week of February 5th

Dd is for dentist!  This week, we will explore the community helper, the dentist, and discuss good food choices and how they relate to our teeth.  We will discover more about good nutrition and making healthy choices.  We will conduct the egg in soda tooth brushing experiment and count teeth as a math game.  Next Monday, 2/12, a dentist will be coming into our classroom to teach us about their job and how to best take care of our teeth.
Jesus teaches us that our bodies are our temples of the Lord.  For Jesus Time, we will review passages from the Bible that tell us that God calls us to take good care of our bodies and keep ourselves healthy. We will praise God with the song, “Rise and Shine.”
