This week should be another exciting week for our class. Our Big Day Curriculum theme is “The Seasons.” We will discuss the circular pattern of the seasons and the differences between them. We will explore the season of spring that we are currently in and notice how it changes as summer gets closer. We will also introduce the sight words, “is” and “in” and continue reviewing the alphabet, numbers 1-20, the shapes and the colors of the rainbow.
We have caterpillars in our classroom that should be making their cocoons soon. As we observe these changes, we will learn about the life cycle of butterflies and create some related crafts. Our Voyages religion lesson this week is, “Jesus Knows My Name.”
