This upcoming week should be short, but fun. We have a lot planned for the three day week. We will begin a new unit, Big Day’s Theme 8 Week 1, “Going New Places.” This new unit will have us learning about new places and new experiences as we prepare to end our school year and make ourselves ready for new experiences over the summer and in kindergarten! We will also review the alphabet, numbers 1-20, the shapes and the colors. Our sight word for this week is “It.” Our religion lesson is Voyages 36 – “Jesus promises to be with me.”
On Wednesday, we will celebrate Multi-Cultural Day. All are invited to send in a dish from their heritage and/or dress in native cultural clothing. We will celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity in our classroom and enjoy the art, music and culture of a variety of heritages.
