We made it! It is hard to believe, but we have made it to the final week of our year in Pre-Kindergarten. It has been a fantastic year filled with memories and new experiences. The children have grown up so much and become so close to each other as a family of friends.
This final week in our class, we have much to do and still more to learn. We continue with Big Day’s Theme 8, Week 4 – “We’re Big Now!” We will discuss how people grow and learn about families. We will explore our relationships with our fathers and create special Father’s Day projects. We will also review the alphabet, numbers 1-20, the shapes and the colors. Our sight words for this week are “Go”, “We” and “To.” We will look for these sight words as we read stories about ocean animals and study the life cycle of fish.
Our class graduation program is Wednesday, June 11th. Following the program, there will be light refreshments in the MPR (little gym). Students may return to class afterwards until their regular scheduled dismissal time. Friday will be our final day of school. All students are invited to attend. We will enjoy some end of the year festivities including an ice cream social.
Thank you for an amazing year and please enjoy a happy and healthy summer with your families!
