We hope you all enjoyed your time off with your families. Here’s what we have in store for this upcoming week when we get back!
We start back with the learning theme,“What’s In The Sky?” We will discuss and learn more about the clouds, the moon, the stars, the sun, rainbows and outer space through a variety of related activities and experiences. We will read the books, “The Little Cloud” and “It Looked Like Spilled Milk” and participate in related writing activities. In addition, we have some fun, new centers to choose at center time. Our dramatic play center will transform into a space station, our reading center will have books on objects in the sky, we will explore different types of clouds in science, our math station will include clear colored 3D geometric shapes with flashlights, our art center will include a variety of sky themed crafts for each day, our building center will have a STEM challenge to design a rocket taller than yourself and, finally, we will enjoy a fun space themed sensory experience in our sensory table. Our religion lesson this week is Voyages 33 (Philip and the Ethiopian). We are looking forward to a a great start back at school!
