Earth Science: The quiz on 7.1 will be on Tuesday 2/1. The quiz on 7.2 will be on Friday 2/4. This week in class we will be learning all about Pangaea and how it is said that all the continents at one point were restless. We also will be going over the theory of plate tectonics leaning about the different types of boundaries which are found on Earth.
Physical Science: The Chapter 6 test is on Friday 2/4. This week in class we will review for the test as well as work on a lab. In the lab we will be creating a snowball launcher learning about distance, speed and time.
Life Science: The Chapter 6 test is on Thursday 2/3. We will review this week in class. In class this week we will be learning how to read current event articles which pertain to DNA.
Living Environment: The Chapter 17 quiz will be on Friday 2/4. This week in class we will still continue learning about evolution. The topics we will cover are speciation, genes and variations, genetic change in population, and molecular evolution. The Unit 5 exam will be on Tuesday 2/15. The review guide will be posted on the classroom.
