There will be a vocabulary test on Unit 3 Monday, October 23. A spelling test on unit 4 will be given on Friday, October 27th.
REMEMBER: Book Projects are due on November 8th. Students were given a choice of book options three weeks ago.
6th Grade: Students are working on essays and will continue to do so this week. They will study adverbs. If time permits, we will read a short story.
7th Grade: We will be working on essay writing. Students will recognize and identify adjectives in sentences. We will read from Scholastic magazine.
8th Grade: We are finishing Civil War literature. Students will write an in class essay comparing and contrasting two characters, from Pink and Say. We will also review adverbs.
