John 1:9 The true light that gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
Grades 6 and 8 November Book Projects are due on Wednesday, December 1.
Grade 7 November Book Projects are due on Wednesday, December 7.
There is a December book project so students should select a book to read.
There will be a vocabulary test on Unit 5.
The Vocabulary test will be given to all quarantining students on Tuesday, December 6. Students in school will take their test on Friday December 3. Much of the homework will be Vocabulary.
Grade 6 ELA: Students will read a story about a Hanukkah miracle- “Zaleh the Goat” They will write a persuasive essay this week.
Grade 7 ELA: The seventh grade students will write an essay on a theme from The Witch of Blackbird Pond. They will go on to write a persuasive essay as well.
The students will read an article about Aliens in Scholastic Magazine.
Grade 8 ELA: Students will write a persuasive essay. They will begin to read Flowers for Algernon.
Grade 7 Religion: We are going to begin Unit 3. Due to many students quarantining, we will not have a memory quiz this week.
