Happy Lutheran Schools Week!
This week we are reviewing prepositions. Students will start conjunctions and review how to formulate sentences.
Grade 6 ELA: The sixth graders are continuing to read The Watsons Go to Birmingham 1963. Students will discuss segregation as it appears in the novel. We will explore the complexity of the characters. There will be a reading response quiz on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
Grade 7 ELA: Students in seventh grade are in the middle of Fever 1973. We are looking at and discussing the challenges faced by the main character during the Malaria epidemic. There will be a reading response quiz on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
Grade 8 ELA: The eighth grade students are in the middle of Inside Out and Back Again. There will be discussion about immigration and the difficulty of being “different” in American society. There will be a reading response quiz on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
Grade 7 Religion: We are finishing presenting our song projects. We will begin unit 4. There will be a memory quiz on Thursday, January 27th. 2 Corin 5:17.
