We hope you all enjoyed your visit to Green Meadows Farm, we sure did!
This week following the trip, we have started our farm animal unit. We will be making a cute cotton ball sheep, a pig face and a rooster puppet over the next few weeks. We will start learning a fun music and movement song called “Flick a Fly”, and also singing “Farmer in the Dell”, “B-I-N-G-O”, and “Old McDonald”.
For Language Arts we will be reading Where Did Bunny Go? and trying to predict what we think the story is about.
We will be learning about Christopher Columbus with an art project, songs and a story.
During Jesus time we will be learning about Jesus baptism. Our friend Jelly told us all about how important water is!
We will be reviewing the color blue, number 4 and rectangle. Mrs. Heigl read us Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons at the library.
