Today was a special day for Ms. Dugan and Mrs. Puglia’s class. We got to visit the Kindergarten class during their gym time! We played cat and mouse with the parachute and had so much fun!

We are so busy in class putting all of the finishing touches on all of our special Christmas projects including making giant candy canes with our handprints and decorating a gingerbread man.

At the library this week Mrs. Heigl read Pete the Cat Saves Christmas by Eric Litwin that reminded us that no matter what we are doing, we should always give it our all!

During Jesus time we continue to discuss Advent and the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. All of our songs for our concert remind us why we really celebrate Christmas.

Some stories we will read this week include: The Littlest Christmas Star by Brandi Dougherty, Christmas in the Barn by Margaret Wise Brown and The 12 Days of Christmas by Hilary Knight.

Reminder that our Christmas program is this Monday December 15th at 9:00 am SHARP! Please bring your child to class at the regular 8:45 time and then make your way to the chapel. After the concert there will be a small reception that will be visited by Santa himself! Please see the sign up sheets outside the classroom for any needed items.

Our Happy Birthday Jesus party will be on Friday December 19. Please send in a layette item that will be donated to children in need.

Christmas break will begin Monday December 22 and classes will resume Monday January 5.

Have a blessed Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year!
