We have been so busy in our classes as we await the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
This week we are:
Art: Finishing our Christmas projects. We are having so much fun!
Jesus Time: Joseph and Mary go to Bethlehem, The season of Advent and Jesus/Christmas songs
Language Arts: The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever by Steven Kroll, No Room at the Inn by Jean St. Malone and It’s Christmas David by David Shannon. We visit the library each week.
Math: Count the wreaths, the days until Jesus is born, friends and holiday items. Sorting activity.
Pre-writing activity: Tracing circles, stars and dotted lines.
Movement to music: Jingle bells and Santa’s coming.
Science: The weather.
Technology: SMART table and computer lab.
Reminder: Our Christmas program will be next Wednesday, December 17th. Please bring the children to class at 9:00 sharp. The program will begin at 9:15 am in the church.
Please note: Our class party will be in the Youth/Senior room rather than the classroom( ECC 2). The Youth/Senior room is across from the church entrance and elevator.
*** Please bring in a Christmas bag and Santa gift ASAP if you have not already done so!
