We hope that everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving. Mrs.. Krass’ class enjoyed wearing their turkey hats for their classroom feast. Today Ms. Dugan’s class was busy making Christmas ornaments. The ornaments are made from a cinnamon/ applesauce mixture and the classroom smells wonderful ! Mrs. Krass’ class will be making their ornaments on Wednesday.
During Jesus time, the children are listening to the story of an angel telling Mary that she will be Jesus’ mother. They are looking forward to celebrating Jesus’ birthday on Christmas. We will visit the chapel on Tuesday and Wednesday where Mrs. Waldeck will share a bible story with us.
The nursery students are busy practicing for their upcoming Christmas programs. They enjoy singing and learning the words to all the Christmas songs with their classmates.
Nooks will be introduced to the nursery students this week. The teachers will be showing the children the various apps where the students can review colors and have fun while learning numbers, shapes and letters of the alphabet.
