This week in the nursery classes, we are finishing up our art projects for Thanksgiving. Our top secret gift and card for the family are completed! We made a Where is Turkey? book which helped us with positional words. We are continuing with our do-a-dot letter of the alphabet and our Before I Write sheets.

Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks by M. Sutherland, Three Little Pilgrims by Janet Craig, Thanks for Thanksgiving by Julie Markes and Albuquerque Turkey adapted by B.G. Ford.
In addition to many other things, at playtime we are solving turkey puzzles, doing turkey sequencing and turkey lacing cards.

Tommy Turkey song, Turkey stroll, Seasons song and Falling Leaves song.
