Hope you all had a nice Veteran’s Day. Thank you to all the veterans and men and women currently serving in the armed forces! The nursery classes had a parade holding American flags in honor of these great people.
This week in the nursery classes we will be getting ready for Thanksgiving. We will make a special card and make a special turkey. Please enjoy admiring our colorful autumn trees hanging in the ECC hallway. We are continuing to work on our color review book. Please reinforce the colors as you see them with your child in the environment. The students are working on holding their pencils correctly as they work on their Before I Write pages!
Literature we will be reading this week:
Run, Turkey, Run! by Diane Mayr, Autumn by Melvin and Gilda Berger, Max and Maggie in Autumn by Janet Craig and Autumn Days by Ann Schweninger.
Some of the songs we will be singing are:
Tommy Turkey, The Turkey Stroll and the Thanksgiving song.
Our Thanksgiving feasts will be 11/26 and 11/27 for Ms. Dugan’s class and 11/27 for Mrs. Krass’ class. Our feast will take place at snack time and a sign up sheet will be posted outside the classrooms.
