We are very excited to start “purple” week. We have a variety of interesting activities planned for the kids to explore the color purple. We will play with purple puff paint and stamp purple grapes using marshmallows. We will read the books, Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse by Kevin Henkes and Jamberry by Bruce Degen, among others, and create our own jam sandwiches at snack time. We will continue singing and dancing to “The Rainbow Colors Song” and “Five Little Pumpkins”. Purple is going to be fun to explore!
