This week we will celebrate the color orange with pumpkin parties, stories and activities. We will have special pumpkin parties on Monday and Tuesday. A big, “Thank you!” to all the families who were able to donate party goods! Don’t forget to wear orange and bring in an orange object for “Show and Tell” as well.
We will also cover the life cycle of the pumpkin plant and create our own “Five Little Pumpkins” storyboards. We will explore the inside of a pumpkin and snack on roasted pumpkin seeds. At Jesus time we will learn about how God made the sunshine that makes the pumpkins grow.
