This week we began our color unit with the color red. Some of our art activities this week were painting red at the easel, making a red hand print on a plate, and coloring a picture of things that are red.
We enjoyed red strawberries and red apples for snack on red day.
Some red themed books we read were Llama, Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney, Clifford the Big Red Dog by Norman Bridwell, and Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown.
For math we are counting our friends everyday and counting the days on the calendar.
During Jesus time we talked about how God made each of us special and unique. Some Jesus songs we are learning are “My God is So Great”, “The B-I-B-L-E”, and “Jesus Loves Me”. We also started learning the Christian Pledge this week.
Ms. Dugan and Mrs. Gallo’s classes were able to escape the rain and visit White Post Farm on Thursday. Mrs. Krass’s class will be rescheduled to next week.
