This week in the nursery classes we are finishing our color unit and completing our color book. We are reviewing the colors by playing color bingo and playing with our color wheels.
This week we have the Nooks in the classroom and we are having lots of fun doing activities with colors, shapes, numbers and letters of the alphabet.
Last week we had a fire drill. The nursery students did an excellent job following directions!
We are getting ready for Thanksgiving! Gobble, gobble.
Art: Color book, stamping leaves and making a booklet about autumn.
Jesus Time: Chapel this week with Mrs. Lavery (Tuesday) and Mrs. Puglia ( Wednesday). In the classroom we are talking about how God created the world. We are also working on a creation booklet.
Technology: SMART table and Nooks.
Literature: Fall Leaves Fall by Zoe Hall, Autumn’s First Leaf by Steve Metzger and Acorns Everywhere by Kevin Sherry. Alphabet Center and leaf poem.
Math: Counting the cornucopia on our calendar, our friends and days of the week.
Science: Leaves and the seasons.
Movement to Music: Walking to the ABCs, The Four Seasons, What a Miracle.
Please join us on Thursday, November 6th for the AriSon concert here at Trinity! The concert starts at 7:30 pm with a pasta dinner being served prior to the concert at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for the concert and $15 for dinner and concert.
