Welcome back everyone! Hope you all had a pleasant Easter recess!
This week in school we are:
Learning about birds and making a nesting bird. We are seeing many more birds outside as we start to spend more time on the playground in the nicer weather. We learned that the smallest bird is the Bee Hummingbird and the largest is the ostrich.
Art: April showers bring May flowers art project, a nesting bird ( Cardinal or Robin) art project.
Language Arts ; Pooh’s Favorite Things About Spring by Kathleen W. Zoehfeld, The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle, The Garden In Our Yard by Greg Henry Quinn and Have You Seen Birds by Joanne Oppenheimer. Alphabet center and poem about birds.
Jesus Time: Jesus dies to be punished for us, Jesus has risen.
Math: Count our friends and umbrellas.
Science: Bird facts…ask us! Weather and seasons.
Technology: SMART table
Music: God Bless America, Hello song, Hello neighbor.
