This week is circus week! Please have your child at school promptly at 9:00 as our circus program starts at 9:15 am sharp. Please have your child in their costume and ready to go! After dropping off your child in  the you may go up the gym and get a seat. We will meet you up there at show time.

This week in class we are also celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.  We are reading the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham and actually trying our very own green eggs and ham!

Art Projects: We are decorating the cups we used to grow grass and making a leprechaun with shamrock stickers. We also made handprint circus clowns which are hanging on the nursery art wall in the ECC hallway.

Jesus Time: Forgiveness, the children love Jesus and practice for our Hosanna parade. Songs: Ho, Ho, Hosanna and Hosanna , Hosanna.

Language Arts: Olivia Saves the Circus by Ian Falconer, Clifford at the Circus by Norman Bridwell and Looking for the Leprechauns by Sheila Keenan.

Math: Counting friends and shamrocks, a circus positional work sheet. Continue with our number book.

Science: Signs of the seasons and watching the growth of our amaryllis.

Reminders: The ECC has class this week on Friday, 3/20. If your child attends class on Fridays , please bring them to school. We will use this day to do some catching up!
