This week in the nursery classes we are continuing with our shape unit. Please enjoy our nursery art wall in the ECC hallway. We added our stamped squares.
Art projects: Mr. Square Bear puppet / Mr. and Mrs. Square Bear, stamping squares, color a square for our shape book.
Language Arts: Frozen Noses by Jan Carr, Bear in a Square by Stella Blackstone of Things by Dayle Ann Dodds and The Penguin Who Wanted to Fly by Catherine Vase.
Alphabet center- learning letters and their sounds, using our observation skills and memory.
Jesus Time: Jesus Grows Up…. Chart Jesus grows as I grow.
Gross Motor skills: Tricycles in the MPR- The students are doing a great job riding and following the rules of the “road”!
Movement to Music: Around in a circle, Squares in the air,
Math: Counting snowflakes and friends.
