Last week of nursery classes! Wow, did this school year fly by! It was a true pleasure to work with all the nursery students and watch them grow emotionally, academically, socially and spiritually  from September to June! Please have a safe and wonderful summer and make sure you come back to ECC 3 for a visit!

This week we had our closing program on Monday, June 8th. The children did a fine job singing their songs and they really enjoyed all the end-of-year festivities!

Mrs. Krass’ class wrapped up the year with  with one final do-a dot picture! Both classes finished all the special projects they have been working on and played a couple more games of number bingo and shape and color bingo for review.

We were also able to play on the Pre-K playground as the children will start using that playground next September.

The full day children had one final visit to the library. Mrs. Heigl read Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Bill Martin, Jr.    She used her  felt board to tell the story.

We all sang and danced to some of our favorite movement to music songs: Walking to the ABCs, What a Miracle, Wheels on the Bus, Ten Little Fingers,  and Where is Thumbkin?

At Jesus time we learned that Jesus taught “others first”. Jesus teaches us how to be happy by being kind and nice and putting other people first, yourself last. We also sang some of our favorite Jesus songs from the school year: Deep and Wide, The B=I-B-L-E, and Jesus’ Love is Bubbling Over.
