Here’s what’s going on during our short week…
Reading: Finish The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Test. Packet graded. We will begin reading Frindle. It’s a great story about language and an imaginative boy who creates a new word.
Grammar: Correcting fragments and run ons.
Vocabulary: Text unit 5
Writing: Narrative writing. There are videos in the ELA google classroom to assist if needed.
SS: Ch 2 Exploration. Test upon completion. Vocabulary quiz. 11/16
Science: Unit 1. Test upon completion. Students enjoyed the food chain activity. Vocabulary quiz;11/15
Math: Quiz and test ch. 5. Begin Ch 6: Adding and Subtraction Fractions.
No spelling or weekly reading hw
Religion: The Old Testament. Review creation, Adam and Eve.

As the weather gets chilly, please be sure your student has a jacket for outdoor recess.
