7 Math:  This week we will be learning how to find the area of circles, rectangles, parallelograms, triangles and trapezoids.  We will also learn how to ifind the perimeter of shapes.  The area and perimeter quiz will be on Tuesday, 1/21.

Life Science:  The chapter 5 test is on Wednesday, 1/15.  This week we will finish up our lab on genetics and inheritance.  At the end of the week we will start chapter 6 which talks about DNA.

Living Environment:  The chapter 14 quiz is Monday.  This week we will be learning about selective breeding and genetic engineering.  The chapter 15 quiz will be on Tuesday, 1/21.  A review sheet for Unit 4 will be handed out this week as well.  The unit 4 test will be on Thursday, 1/23.

Earth Science:  This week we will begin chapter 7 learning about the inside of the Earth.  The 7.1 quiz will be on Friday, 1/17.

Physical Science: The 12.2 quiz will be on Thursday, 1/16.  This week in class we will continue learning about the periodic table and how the elements are arranged.
