Joke of the week: What type of music are balloons afraid of?
Language Arts- This week we will review Lesson 21 of our Journey’s series. Our essential question is, How do musicians work together to make music? We will read, Simon and Molly Plus Hester and Zin! Zin! Zin! a Violin. As we read the stories we will focus on details and predictions. We will be learning 6 new sight words: make, them, give, play, say, new. We will also review the long and short sounds for the vowel o. In grammar, we will discuss Proper Nouns: he, she, we.
This weeks language arts centers will focus on word families, CVC words and sight words.
Math- In math we will finish Chapter 7 and have our math test on Numbers 11-20 on Wednesday Match 9th.
Quick Math- This weeks quick math centers will involve numbers 11-20 bingo.
Jesus Time- We will continue to read our Children’s Beginner Bible Stories, we love reading this book! After each story the children look forward to watching a video pertaining to the story we read and connecting what we read to the video!
Science: We will discuss wind and what it effects.
